Course Learning Objectives/Outcomes

By the end of the course, the Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, Social Worker or Psychologist will be able to:

-Identify two stages of parents' adjustment upon discovery that their child has special needs.
-Name one reason why siblings of children with mental health problems feel resentment.
-Explain the use of sandtray in play therapy.
-Discuss narrative intervention with diverse families. .
